WHAT IS IT WITH BOATS N' BLACK FOLKS?

So I think it's pretty much safe to say that T-pain has become the ambassador for all things fuckery and musical. Now as I watch this SNL clip and I couldn't help but think damn they jacked the whole concept of akon's Acorns latest video but its all irrelevant actually. But It's damn safe to say not one of these "singers" or "rappers" (using those terms in the lightest way possible) own none of these boats. And as I got to thinking more about it, since the economy is all fucked to hell I'm sure these pimps of culture are doing what they have to just to stay afloat in these troubled times as long as the check get's cashed right fellas! Now who say's I never tried to give these wack acts the benefit of my doubt! In every generation there is a STEPIN FETCHIT some even argue that Tyler Perry is one but you already know my views on that if not REFRESH YOUR MEMORY

  1. LMAO the entire time @ the SNL clip. How else could SNL pull off that skit without T-Pain?

And everybody knows that the Aaliyah video "Rock the Boat" was the shit (I don't care if she was dead or alive). Very tasteful and well done. Gotta give Fatima Robinson (Aaliyah's former choreographer) her props.

  2. -Dulce,

Akon and T pain are definitely on that coonery and bafoonery hard. but i have to show my girl aaliyah some love. that song is beautiful and the video is the perfect compliment. i must say i always believed that she represented the ladies well. she is and will always be missed. can you believe she has been gone all of these years?

  3. @ Jewel & Dulce ya know I don't want to muddy the waters but there has been mumbles about Dummy Dash doing a tell all movie or book, about how he stole Aaliyah away from Jay-z, other mumbles have been saying that after R. kelly turned her out she became a freak for real just hot and down for whatever, which isn't a far strecth considering R. Kelly was sexing her crazy when she was in her teens, other mumbles are that she was bi-sexual.

Now I said all that to see after I heard these mumbles I looked at the video with new eyes, I believe that video was her coming out her declaration to the world that she was a sexual woman and you can see that all up and through this video. Also when she does that little body to body with her fellow dancer my aunt who has been in the prison system said that, was dead on gay female posturing. Yes Aaliyah was a talented and she was good at what she did, but let's never lose sight that she was a very young woman who died before she could truly ripen and show the world all her many colors.

I appreciate how she kept it very bottled she didn't flaunt herself in the public she was about the grind but also after the elopement with R. Kelly she was very careful not to hurt her mother or shame her family in public but, we only saw the surface and the media spin. Just my little spin on things.
